Josette Russell owns Dynamic Lean, Inc., a company that focuses on designing and driving change to deliver positive business results in both manufacturing and non-manufacturing organizations. She couples Lean tools (i.e. the Toyota Production System) with keen strategic thinking to create action plans that align with and impact business goals. To build organizational strength, Josette partners with site leaders to develop and deploy the necessary skills and tools to sustain momentum.
Josette also owns Dynamic Kanban, which specializes in kanban consulting, software to calculate kanban solutions, and is the author of Banking on Kanban, Josette’s book about designing and deploying kanban systems.
Josette enjoys solving complex problems. She eagerly tackles enormous strategic challenges, and relishes the critical thinking and data analysis that dominates today’s business climates.
Josette was formerly employed by large manufacturing companies, such as Danaher and Eaton, but has also worked with non-manufacturing organizations, including a hospital and a law firm. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from GMI (now Kettering University) in Flint, Michigan, and a Master of Science in Management from Purdue University.
